Where to begin your case study?
You will need to READ through information in order to produce a thorough case study for this unit.
Investigate a variety Music companies/record labels. You can do this via the Internet.
Once you have spent some time reading/looking at a number of different companies, decide which one you would like to investigate.
You can start by gathering detailed information about the following areas:
The production company itself (for example Sony Music) and the artists/musicians it works with.
The distribution companies it works with or if it is a very large company possibly it has it’s own distribution services.
You might like to use the mindmap software on the desktop to begin a detailed brainstorm of factual information for this study.
